The shows for the Airedale breed we run are always well supported with many of the handlers and dogs you may see showing at Crufts and other shows making regular appearances. The Show is a culmination of good breeding, hours of preparation and years of experience in the breed for the handlers. But beginners are always made welcome, our shows are friendly events where everyone is made to feel welcome.

WESWATC have been running sessions to show new and experienced owners and anyone who wants to learn how to hand strip their Airedale to possibly reach the high standard of preparation that you see in the dog shows. Held every few months in a hall in the village of Winscombe, Somerset where experienced WESWATC members will show you how to start and how to get the best results from your efforts.

People who own Airedales are generally very social people and WESWATC membership provides many ways to be social with your Airedale. Stripping classes, breed shows, summer get togethers and occasional WESWATC club walks where many Airedales and their families come together and make a stupendous sight on a multi Airedale walk.
